This Field Geologist role, based in Vaughan, ON, involves planning, coordinating, and executing ground investigations for transportation, infrastructure, and mining projects. Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation while performing downhole permeability testing.
Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement on large projects. Work alongside Hydrogeological, Environmental, and Geomatics groups, cross-training as required to achieve common goals. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or Geological Engineering and 5+ years of related experience
- G.I.T or E.I.T. designation, at minimum
- Valid Ontario class G drivers license
- Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with the potential for out-of-province assignments
- Positive attitude and uncompromising commitment to health and safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness and proven ability to work in a team atmosphere
- Good understanding of MS Office
