The position assists in the design, development, testing, and implementation of GIS applications to meet customer needs and enterprise requirements. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining GIS databases, tracking utility information from various sources, and performing data conversion from field surveys and record documents. Daily tasks ensure quality and turnaround time metrics are consistently met.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, or closely related field with 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of geodatabases, georeferencing, and spatial and attribute data entry and editing
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Python, SQL, or Arcade programming skills preferred
- GPS skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Convert as-built data onto the GIS system ensuring quality and turnaround time metrics are consistently met
- Create maps, drawings, and reports for internal and external customers ensuring quality and turnaround time metrics are met
- Provide subject matter expertise, training, and fundamental system support on geospatial issues
- Support the plan, design, and implementation of asset integration and migration projects
- Perform QA/QC checks on spatial edits within GIS utilizing Data Reviewer
- Convert data to be entered into GIS from a variety of formats
- Prepare value-added project documents and reports
- Work with existing GIS standards and assist development and roll-out of new procedures
