AtkinsRéalis is reshaping the future and expanding its Geotechnical Team in Ontario. Join as a Field Geologist in Vaughan with geotechnical drilling experience from transportation and municipal sectors as an asset. Plan, coordinate, and execute ground investigations for transportation and infrastructure projects. Install and monitor geotechnical instrumentation. Perform downhole inspections and testing such as packer, OTV/ATV, along with borehole log and sample review.

Collaborate with teams to further technological and digital advancement. Work on large projects with Hydrogeological, Environmental, and Geomatics groups, cross-training as required. Adhere to health, safety, and environmental rules while proactively improving HSE policies to mitigate hazards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Geoscience or Geological Engineering and 2+ years of related experience and G.I.T or P.Geo. designation
  • Valid Ontario class G drivers license
  • Ability to work and travel throughout Ontario with potential for out-of-province assignments
  • Positive attitude and uncompromising commitment to health and safety

Responsibilities
