Remedy Scientific

Oakland, US · Internship · $45,000 – $65,000

About this role

Remedy is a startup committed to addressing the bottleneck in returning former commercial/industrial properties to beneficial use. We design and build a scalable, vertically integrated workflow that starts with site identification and investigation, ending with redevelopment entitlement and construction. This intern role supports site research, remedial cost analysis, investigation planning, data analysis, regulatory reporting, and professional papers.

The position offers hands-on experience in applied hydrogeology using the best available technology and hardware. Daily tasks include evaluating new digital tools and field-ready hardware to accelerate site investigation workflows. Interns participate in sampling, field investigations, and data interpretation for soil, soil vapor, and groundwater.

Remedy brings together a uniquely diverse team of software developers, A.I. experts, engineers, chemists, environmental scientists, geologists, and real estate professionals. These disciplines work without silos due to our goal of speed and vertically integrated workflow. Interns collaborate closely with engineers and scientists on active projects.

This role is ideal for gaining practical skills in developing conceptual site models, remedial alternatives, and environmental data visualization. Interns contribute to technical reports and documentation while understanding regulatory processes. The program provides exposure to real-world environmental challenges in a innovative environment.
