The Data Scientist joins a skilled team applying cutting-edge research in a complex, evolving data environment. Develop code using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch to perform complex modeling, detect and characterize objects, and enhance analytic tradecraft. Integrate data from diverse sources into coherent databases.
Work with trusted, skilled, diverse team members making lasting impact. Collaborate across government, industry, and academia stakeholders. Facilitate consensus on issues in a high-energy environment focused on mission success.
Train foundation models to advance the Sponsor community and fine-tune for real mission questions. Write compelling documentation and reports for decision makers. Contribute to modernizing government missions through innovative technical solutions.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI with required polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science, mathematics, statistics etc) and minimum of one (1) year of data science experience
- Experience with Python and/or R
- Experience with Machine Learning/Computer Vision/Object Detection
- Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication and graphical representation skills
- Sound judgment and creative problem solving and independent working skills
- Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills across government, industry, and academia
- Technical understanding of systems supporting functional areas
Responsibilities
- Integrate data from a variety of sources, formats and disciplines into coherent databases
- Train foundation models to advance the Sponsor community
- Fine-tune models to address real mission questions
- Write compelling documentation and reports for decision makers
- Develop code to perform complex modeling to detect and characterize objects using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Enhance an evolving analytic tradecraft
