The Geophysicist Jr role requires a strong technical background in non-seismic geophysics including gravity, magnetic, and radiometric. Provide processing services to client companies to enhance subsurface objectives using proven processing and interpretation software.

Support acquisition projects by working with a team to produce high quality gravity, magnetic, and radiometric datasets with proprietary software. Oversee projects to completion ensuring high customer satisfaction and professional presentation. Perform quality control on data integrity, quality, and documents from company and contractors.

Work in a collaborative environment with regular client meetings following company methodologies. Develop relationships understanding technical, business, and contractual requirements. Ensure consistent reporting and presentation styles across projects, with some weekend work required.

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in non-seismic geophysics including gravity, magnetic, and radiometric
  • Proficiency in processing gravity, magnetic, and radiometric data
  • Experience using geophysical processing and interpretation software
  • Knowledge of data quality control and integrity in geophysical datasets
  • Ability to manage geophysical acquisition projects
  • Understanding of subsurface objectives in exploration geophysics
