AECOM is seeking a highly motivated GIS Developer to support a key client. This role requires GIS experience in enterprise system design, database management, and application development. Expertise in ArcGIS desktop, online, and enterprise, plus SQL Server and programming like Python, HTML, and JavaScript is essential.

Daily responsibilities include interfacing with client and DWM PMO staff on project planning, goal setting, and expectation management. Collaborate with GIS team members on product design and delivery requirements. Monitor database and system performance to ensure continuous high-quality information delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, or another related field and 4+ years of relevant experience with GIS development (ArcGIS Pro, SQL, etc.) or demonstrated equivalency
  • 5+ years of experience as a GIS Analyst or similar with professional level experience in GIS enterprise environment design, development, implementation, and administration
  • Experience developing web and mobile applications in ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS
  • Experience creating automated data management processes or modifying web applications using Python, HTML, Javascript
  • Demonstrated experience with designing, working in, and updating Esri enterprise database environments, including versioned datasets
  • Strong SQL Server capabilities including building and understanding queries, developing and managing views, and understanding stored procedures/jobs
  • Strong understanding of GIS system architecture and workflows

Responsibilities
